About
Our mission
Planning a trip should take a few minutes, not several evenings. TomExplore builds day-by-day city trip itineraries from curated places, so that everyone leaves with a plan that suits them without having to build it from scratch.
Our story
Tom Explore SAS was founded in January 2025 in Vannes, Brittany, by Thomas Gesland. The app reached the App Store in September of the same year, then Google Play, starting with European destinations.
How we work
Our place data comes from public sources and from our own records, which we process ourselves, and to which we add our opinions and recommendations. Articles are written from that database, then read through and checked manually before publication.
For professionals
Our itinerary engine is also available to publishers and creators, as a widget to embed on their own site: their visitors build a trip without leaving the page.
